STORY TIME....⁣🥰 ⁣ Once upon a time, I desperately wanted to be as 'skinny' as possible...When I got to that goal, I realized it wasn't all it was cracked up to be - being hungry, tired, and drained constantly, having anxiety, comparing myself to others, feeling insecure, and bitchy all for the sake of fitting into a size 0. I basically drowned myself in obsession and sank all the way to the bottom, until I realized I didn't want that! 🙅🏼‍♀️⁣ ⁣ I decided I wanted to be STRONG - in my mind, body, and my life! 🙋🏼‍♀️I wanted to be in control, confident, and I wanted to do it for myself - nobody else! So, I did it. I has been hard, it has been long, and I have had challenges along the way - I'm only human. But I'm here and it has been the best decision I have made in my life. ⁣💪🏻 ⁣ I have learnt that focusing on myself, my goals, my relationships, my mindset in seeing the good in every situation, and being in control of my body makes life so much better. My life has completely transformed into something that I am so grateful for. ⁣❤️ ⁣ Be resilient, be confident, be strong, be unapologetic; if you want something, go get it!⁣🙌🏻🤗


Happy Fri-yay! 🥰⁣ ⁣ Remember, if something bad happens to you, you have complete control over only one thing - how you react to it. I get that not everyone (myself included), can be a positive ray of sunshine all the time. But we can definitely try our best! ☀️⁣ ⁣ If something or someone is making you feel negative or drained, that is time and energy that you could be spending on making YOU better! Your time is precious, your worth is priceless, your energy is your superpower and your happiness is everything! 🥰 If anyone tries to take those things away from you with their behaviours, their words or their vibes - say ‘no thank you’ or give a swift little middle finger if you’re feeling sassy 💁🏼‍♀️🖕🏻! ⁣ ⁣ Choose positivity every time 🥰☀️


If you were lucky enough to be blessed with a healthy, functioning body - treat it well ❤️⁣ ⁣ FEED it good food 🥑, TRAIN it often 🏋🏼‍♀️, and be KIND to it! Don’t be ashamed to make yourself feel good, tell yourself you look good, and love every inch of your body - flaws and all! 🥰 ⁣ ⁣ You are so fortunate and blessed, don’t take it for granted 👏🏻


MOTIVATION....⁣🙋🏼‍♀️ ⁣ I have so many DMs about this so I thought it was time to slide into your timeline with the answer..."How do you stay motivated to workout/exercise/train?" ⁣ ⁣ Truthfully..? Some days I jump out of bed like YAAS exercise and some days I don't! Even the most dedicated gym-goers and athletes have off days! ⁣🤷🏼‍♀️ ⁣ #1. Just KEEP showing up 🤗 (unless you're just sick or your body genuinely needs rest). Showing up is half the battle. Once you get there, you might as well do something and make it count! After you do, you'll feel 100x better than you did before! Something that at first seems like effort, can turn into something that you wouldn't miss for the world...aka me!⁣ ⁣ #2 SCHEDULE your workouts! ⏰ Plan out your entire week so that you know when you are going, pre-pack your gym bag the night before so that there are no excuses as to why you can't get yo' ass there!⁣ ⁣ #3 PLAN your workout! 👏🏻Having a proper plan to follow will keep you motivated, which in the end will get you better results! This also helps so that you are not just wandering around wondering what machine to use or exercise to copy off YouTube or Instagram next!⁣ ⁣ #4 GYM GEAR! 🏃🏼‍♀️I know this is a bit shallow and I don't recommend doing this often unless you wanna spend a sh*tload of money LOL....but fresh new gym gear or trainers always gets me going!⁣ ⁣ #5 WHY? ❤️Remember why you are working out in the first place! It doesn't just improve your physical health, mental healthy, & wellbeing, your energy, confidence, & life in general!⁣ ⁣ #6 Be GRATEFUL! 🙏🏻I literally had to say it...There are people out there who will never be able to exercise and there are people who have lost limbs, but are still getting it done! SOOOOO if you are lucky enough to have a healthy functioning body that moves and can do amazing stuff...QUIT moaning and get sh*t done! ⁣🙃 ⁣ 🥰HAPPY MONDAY🥰


‘I GOT this’ - repeat, often 🤟🏼⁣ I think the hardest part of working towards a better lifestyle is not knowing exactly what you need to do in order to reach that *end goal* or not knowing when you will arrive! If you just START, you’ll likely END up some place ahead of now even if it’s not where you intended👋🏽. I see this SO often with clients. They come to me with a goal (or a few), but it can seem like such a big deal or FAR away point that they want to cry, ask me frustrating questions and/or give up👋🏽. So what I tell them, and myself is:⁣ ⁣ 1️⃣Break down where you want to be, set mini-milestones and use those as your checkpoints. If you have a goal to lose weight, gain muscle, or run a 5 Km,then you are probably better off focusing on small increases or decreases in weight or 1 Km, then again, again and again & before you know it, you’ve done it!⁣ ⁣ 2️⃣Giving up is NOT an option. You can get frustrated, cry, stomp your feet, but you can’t give up. If you must, have your 5 (ok, 10) emotional minutes, then get back into it! 💅🏽😎⁣ ⁣ 3️⃣Know that all of the above probably won’t help much & taking a little time out to think back to WHY you want to transform your body so that you can really see the clear picture!⁣ ⁣ 4️⃣Remind yourself that things might already be decided. And it might just be our job to put in effort, action and enjoy. Everything always makes sense in the end.✨⁣ ⁣ 5️⃣Lead by FAITH. Not by FEAR 🙏🏽. Fear will have you running for the door. Faith will keep you cool because you know that as soon as you have faith in yourself and your capabilities, then you can do anything you put your mind to! ⁣ ⁣ 6️⃣Tell yourself, it’s ‘EASY’ or 'I GOT THIS'. Change your perspective, change your life.. If we look at things for literally what they are, rather than being in our feelings or fears, they’re far less scary and more doable.⁣ ⁣ It might take weeks, months or years, but that time will pass anyway, enjoy the ride🎢⁣ ⁣ HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE, HAVE AN AMAZING WEEKEND! 🥰


ANSWER THIS QUESTION: WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO OVER THE NEXT 12 WEEK TO MAKE SURE THAT COME SUMMER, YOU ARE THE BEST VERSION OF YOURSELF MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY, & SPIRITUALLY? 🤷🏼‍♀️ If you haven't thought about that, bought some new books, added podcasts to a list, enrolled in a coaching/training program then now is the time to do that!🙋🏼‍♀️ Often times summer comes around & people are SO motivated to create big goals for themselves but they are lacking some of the most important aspects - habits, practices, beliefs, workout plans, nutrition information, which will actually make them truly successful! 🥰 Aspects like: LIVING in a state of gratitude, CHOOSING to focus on POSITIVITY everyday regardless of circumstances, working out for your body, eating for your body, practicing self love, being confident and sure of whatever you believe in life, manifesting your dream life in a way that actually works, aligning your actions with who you are as a person, and re-defining what failure & success looks like to you! 🤗❤️ These aspects are so important for you to learn in order to enjoy the journey to your transformation!
