I’m obsessed with these beautiful flowers from my walk yesterday. Yesterday was a much needed self care kind of day and today I’m feeling like a million bucks. I talked a lot in my stories about the things I do when I am in the middle of a flare up but I didn’t really brush on what I eat during the time. The funny thing is that I don’t eat. I fast for at least 24 hours. I started doing this a year ago weekly and anytime I experienced a flare up. It’s what makes sense to me and what WORKS! Think about it, when we have a broken foot we don’t continue to use the foot by walking on it, we rest it. Same thing goes for the gut. It needs rest! In my opinion this doesn’t just help stomach issues, it helps all autoimmune issues. I’ve seen it time and time again and with clients. Autoimmunity begins in the gut, and when we allow the gut time to rest we heal. On top of that, my energy is AMAZING when I fast. Who can relate?


My life rn. I have been dealing with the craziest stomach aches, breakouts, and insane bloating. Today is going to consist of a gentle workout + light portal (follow my stories to see what this is and how it’s made an impact in my healing journey) + sauna time. Sometimes we just need to pause, cancel our plans and really take extra time to tune into our bodies. Not all people will understand it and that’s ok. Self care comes first and in order to be there for the ones you love, you have to care for yourself first ⋆


CBD oil & dessert all in one bite = CBD ice cream bars 🍦 🌱 CBD is my go-to remedy for almost everything these days. From anxiety to a stomach ache it always does the trick. Check out the recipe: Makes 6 treats: 6 drops of your fav CBD oil 6 tablespoons almond butter 6 tablespoons dairy free yogurt 1/2 cup dairy free chocolate 1/2 almond milk 1/2 cup gluten free granola Ice cube tray Melt the chocolate on the stove with the almond milk on low, continuously whisk together until smooth. Place 1 tablespoon of yogurt in each compartment followed by a drop of CBD, almond butter, granola, and chocolate. Place in the freezer for at least 4 hours. You can eat them straight from the freezer. ENJOY!


I have been a little MIA lately with a small flare up. While I haven’t been feeling my best, I reminded myself of this.. 5 years ago I was sitting on the floor in my college apartment crying and decided that enough was enough. I was on 13 different medications, about to start a chemotherapy drug, and was dependent on prescription uppers and downers to move through the motions of everyday life. I was unhappy and sick and tired of being sick and tired. I took a leap of faith and ordered a book that I saw at a friends house: The Paleo Protocol by @thepaleomom . The book focuses on how to reverse your autoimmune disease, which was something that I was told was impossible for years. I made a commitment to myself that everyday I was going to do better than the day before. I started to imagine my future, healthy self. I began taking care of my body. I started to nourish it with quality food. I started to surround myself with healthy relationships. I finally started to listen to my body. It’s been 5 years and I’m finally drug free. There have certainly been ups and downs along the way, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I finally feel alive, in control, and stronger than ever before. No matter where you are in your healing journey, take the time to remind yourself of how far you have come. Remember, don’t settle: especially when it comes to your health. You deserve to have it all. Namaste 🙏


PALEO egg benedict 🍳 too good to be true, right? This GF bread literally melts in your mouth. The hollandaise sauce is to die for. Here’s the recipe- 1/2 cup ghee, melted• 1 tsp cayenne pepper (use less if you don’t like spice) • 1 tablespoon lemon juice • 2 egg yolks • place in a blender until mixed throughout. The hollandaise sauce is enough for 4 halves. I like spreading avocado on the toast, adding the bacon, and then the poached egg on top. So much love for this little girl ❤️ So many fun adventures this summer and I can’t believe we still have a few more months to go! ☀️ 🏖 As much as I love to travel, it can be a lot for my body, especially my tummy #celiacproblems Who can relate?! 🙋🏽‍♀️ Below are the top 6 things that help me get back into the groove after a vacation! 1- #intermittentfasting saves me every time. 5-6 days a week I will do a 16 hour fast with an 8 hour eating window and 1-2 days a week I will do a 20-24 hour fast. I feel my best when I fast, especially when my stomach acts up. 2- move every day 🏃🏼‍♀️ It doesn’t have to be intense but I make a point to move. I feel so much better when I do. Lately, I have been regularly going to Pure Barre and Pilates classes 🏋️‍♀️ 🧘🏼‍♀️ 3- sweat! I love going to the sauna a few days a week, but with the current humidity, you can just step outside for 20-30 minutes and you’ll get your sweat on! Sweating is so good for the body. 💦 4- tons and tons of low glycemic veggies and fruits. I love berries & mixed greens 🥗 🍓 5- sleep. I think this one is most important to me. I will do anything for a good night’s rest. Sometimes this means a 730 bedtime and I’m more than ok with that 😴 6- hydrate. I recently tried the gallon of water a day challenge 💦 I felt so good when I was doing this. In addition, I have added a few ounces of coconut water to my daily routine 🥥 I love coconut water because it’s filled with electrolytes and is sooo refreshing. What are your go to self care hacks that help you feel your best?


I had the most wonderful time at yesterday’s Sacred Sunday. It was amazing being in a room full of vibrant women that were so open, vulnerable, and authentic working together to release the things that were no longer serving them. When we are vulnerable we create the opportunity to really connect and heal. Thank you @brennablackmun and Cindy from for hosting this sacred space.
